Some tasks on reality TV are about strategy. This one asked a contestant to relive one of the hardest chapters of her life on camera. In the latest episode of Lock Upp 2, informer Apoorva Mukhija selected contestant Pamala Serena for a high-stakes secret reveal task just ahead of the finale. Given the code word “fiancé,” Serena opened up about a long-term relationship — nearly eight years — that ended after she discovered her former partner’s infidelity. She recounted a medical emergency involving her ex-fiancé, followed by a phone call from another woman who revealed she had been in a two-year relationship with him and was pregnant with his child.

The story behind the revelation

Despite the betrayal, Serena stayed by her former partner’s side for a month during his recovery before permanently ending the relationship. She described the lasting impact candidly, saying her trust broke and she now questions whether to let people get close to her. Serena chose not to reveal her ex-fiancé’s identity during the task.

She isn’t the only one who opened up emotionally this week — contestants Ram Kapoor and Shreya Kalra also broke down while discussing personal experiences, making it an unusually raw stretch of episodes as the season heads toward its close. Former contestants Harshad Chopda and Yogesh Rawat also re-entered the house after winning tasks against Sufi Motiwala and Dheeraj Dhoopar.

Before her TV stint, Serena appeared in Netflix India’s Desi Bling and holds titles including Mrs Universe Dubai 2021 and Mrs UAE World 2022.
