Love on the Menu Poster: Ha Seok Jin and Hani Serve Up a Story of Second Chances

Some love stories need a second serving. Love on the Menu just dropped its group poster, and it’s less a promo shot than a scrapbook — Polaroid-style snapshots stitching together 17 characters whose broken families are about to find their way back to one warm, shared table.

Love on the Menu: Overview

A Reunion Eight Years in the Making

At the center of it all are Kim Moo Jin (Ha Seok Jin) and Han Gyu Rim (Hani), former lovers reuniting eight years after a painful breakup. As the story unfolds, the two don’t just rekindle their own relationship — they end up piecing together the fractured pieces of their respective families along the way, turning old wounds into something closer to healing.

A Full Table of Supporting Characters

The poster leans into its ensemble strength, giving each of its 17 characters a distinct personality within the Polaroid format. Han Gyu Young and Jo Heung Sik bring their own quirks, while Jang Hoon Tae and Go Yoon Hee radiate the easy warmth of a long-married couple. Han Seok Jung and Hong Ok Sun add commanding presence, and Park Soo Nam, described as the show’s backbone, is joined by Park Jung Woo and Jang Seo Hyun in a clearly close best-friend dynamic. Younger romance and sibling threads round things out through Han Gyu Oh and Kwon Hee Na’s budding relationship, alongside the natural chemistry between siblings Han Gyu Seo and Han Gyu Min.

The production team described wanting the poster to capture each character’s individuality and energy as they slowly intertwine into one shared story — a format increasingly common in Korean drama family ensembles, where large casts are used to build out generational, slice-of-life storytelling.
