Why Liverpool’s Luis Diaz is the best signing in January transfer window?

The 25-year-old Colombian winger Luis Diaz has recently completed three months in the English Premier League, where the Liverpool player has already shined with his incredible performances, especially in the big games. While the ongoing European football season is going to end soon, Diaz has been considered one of the best signings in the latest winter transfer window.

When the visiting team Liverpool thrashed Luis Diaz’s FC Porto by 5-1 in the Group Stage of the UEFA Champions League 2021/22, nobody knew the fate of Diaz in the second half of the ongoing season.

While Liverpool were targeting Diaz, they successfully managed to bring him into the squad during the 2022 January transfer window. During that time, Diaz was one of the top players in the Portuguese Primeira Liga 2021/22 with 14 goals and 5 assists for FC Porto.

In his first half-season of the Premier League, Diaz has already shown his true potential in the big matches. His presence has played a vital role for the Reds, who are now dreaming of four trophies in the ongoing season.
