Lenovo ThinkBook 13s Gen 2 is the company’s Intel Evo and Dolby Vision certified notebook

The release of Intel’s new 11th Generation CPUs has prompted Lenovo to upgrade many of its previous models with the latest silicon tech. the company has also decided to launch many new notebooks, not only with Intel’s Tiger Lake but also with AMD’s Ryzen 4000U processors.

Lenovo’s new ThinkBook 13s Gen 2, a part of Lenovo’s line pf Ultraportable laptops will be powered by the Tiger Lake and AMD Ryzen 4000U processors.

The notebook is Intel Evo certified. Apart from it the Lenovo ThinkBook 13s Gen 2 also has a Dolby Vision certified 13.6-inch WQXGA IPS panel.

The display has an ultra-resolution of 2560 x 1600 resolution.

The display is also touch-enabled which can be turned off by the users. It has a peak brightness of 300 nits and covers 100% of the sRGB color spectrum.

The notebook powered by Intel Iris Xe graphics allows playing of certain high-end games at decent frame rated while running at medium graphics. The all-powerful notebook disappoints a little in the GPU area.

The Lenovo ThinkBook 13s Gen 2 comes configured with up to i7 Tiger Lake CPU. While sporting a 1TB NVMe SSD, the device performance is supported by 16GB LPDDR5x RAM clocked at 4200MHz.

Connectivity options of the ThinkBook include one Thunderbolt 4.0, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, one HDMI 2.0 port, and an audio jack.

The Lenovo ThinkBook 13s Gen 2 also sports Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1. the notebook also sports a 61Wh battery that supports fast-charging up to 65W.

Lenovo’s new ThinkBook comes with many goodies. It is Intel Evo certified and sports the latest Intel Tiger Lake and AMD Ryzen 4000U processors.

The Intel variant is priced at $829 while the AMD variant is priced at $729. The new Lenovo notebook will be available for purchase from October 2020.
