Aside from its sturdy shell, the Lava Prowatch is expected to have all-encompassing health tracking, measuring various activities and one’s heart rate. Lava says that it will be more accurate than other options in the market, including smartbands, addressing consumers concerned with their health. The smartwatch is also expected to have replaceable straps, making more room for one to give it a personal touch. However, the OS is still speculated and can be replaced by Google’s Wear OS, which makes watches install apps directly.

This makes a lot of sense since Lava has always stated that it wants to bring accessibility to most people, especially its targeted market. It is worth noting that Lava specializes in design strength and durability, something that the CMR report indicated as a need for more than half of users.
