Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2 Reportedly Ending: Apsara to Take Its Slot on October 21

For many families, the 10:30 PM slot has meant one thing: Tulsi is back. Now, reportedly, the curtain is about to fall. Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi Season 2 is said to be bidding farewell after a successful year on television, and a fantasy-filled show is stepping in.

A Year to Remember

The show premiered in 2025 and marked Smriti Irani’s return to acting after a long break. Fans of the original Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi welcomed the sequel with open arms. The cast also includes Amar Upadhyay, Hiten Tejwani, Gauri Pradhan, Shakti Anand, Ritu Sheth Chaudhary, Kamalika Guha Thakurta and Ravee Gupta.

What’s Replacing It?

Out goes the family saga, in comes a supernatural drama called Apsara. The story follows an Apsara who becomes the bridge between an ancient power and those determined to possess it.

Samiksha Jaiswal plays Sunehri, the guardian entrusted with protecting the powerful Amrit from evil forces. She says her character isn’t just about beauty: “An Apsara isn’t waiting for her hero. She is the hero.” That line alone promises a heroine with real spirit.

Our Take

Television loves a fresh start. A star-studded fantasy drama could draw a new, younger audience, but die-hard Tulsi fans may need time to say goodbye. Note that the farewell is reported, not officially confirmed by the makers, so watch for an announcement.
