Kunal Kamra slammed Ola CEO Bhavish Aggarwal

Comedian Kunal Kamra has once again taken to social media to criticize Ola Electric and its CEO, Bhavish Aggarwal, over the company’s handling of customer complaints and the absence of a clear refund policy. Kamra, who has been vocal about his dissatisfaction with the company’s customer service, particularly regarding its electric scooters, used X (formerly Twitter) as the platform to voice his concerns. He has a total net worth of rs. 6 crores

Kamra’s primary issue revolves around the fact that Ola Electric has yet to announce a definitive plan to address customer grievances, such as providing refunds for unsatisfied customers. In a recent post, Kamra wrote, “Ola Electric hasn’t disclosed any plan to issue refunds or put an end date to current customer complaints. We don’t even know if there is a plan.”

This public critique didn’t stop there. Kamra further took a jab at Aggarwal, calling for transparency from the CEO while humorously insisting that the solution should not involve him being employed by Ola. He wrote, “All I can do is let @bhash [Bhavish Aggarwal] know that he has to put out a public plan which doesn’t include employing me.”

The Heated Exchange Between Kunal Kamra and Aggarwal–

The tension between Kamra and Aggarwal has been brewing for a while. The back-and-forth initially began when Kamra posted a picture of several Ola electric scooters parked outside what appeared to be an Ola store. Kamra’s tweet implied that Ola was not doing enough to solve the problems associated with their electric scooters.

Okay, picture this: Kamra makes some comment – we don’t know exactly what, but apparently, it rubbed Aggarwal the wrong way. Big time. Now, Aggarwal could have taken the high road. Nope. Instead, he went full sarcasm, firing back with a response that’s, shall we say, *memorable*. “If you’re so concerned, come help. If not, shut up and let us fix real customer issues,” he allegedly said. Seriously! Can you believe that? It’s kind of a blunt approach, isn’t it? You’ve got to wonder, though, what exactly was Kamra saying that triggered *that* kind of reaction?

Kamra, however, was undeterred by the CEO’s response. He pressed on, demanding accountability and suggesting that instead of engaging in personal attacks, Aggarwal should focus on providing refunds to dissatisfied customers. “Can you give a total refund to anyone who wants to return their OLA EV & who’s purchased it in the last 4 months?” Kamra questioned.

He added that he didn’t want Aggarwal’s money but was instead calling for accountability for customers who might have struggled with substandard service. “I don’t need your money, people not being able to get to their workplace need your accountability,” Kamra said, urging Aggarwal to show genuine concern for his customers.

Bhavish Aggarwal Receives Backlash–

While Kamra’s remarks were largely well-received, Aggarwal faced significant criticism for his handling of the situation. Many social media users labeled his responses as arrogant and unprofessional, with some expressing concern about how his attitude might reflect Ola’s overall approach to customer service. One user commented, “Super cringe, can only imagine how badly customer service behaves with individuals, if this is how top management reacts to criticism.”

Another user pointed out that Ola’s CEO should take responsibility for the company’s shortcomings, rather than engaging in public spats with celebrities. “Kamra didn’t take your customers’ money and deliver substandard service. You did that. Take some accountability instead of shamelessly fighting on Twitter,” the user added.

Aggarwal’s combative attitude during this online exchange has sparked a larger conversation about the importance of customer service and corporate accountability, particularly for high-profile companies like Ola Electric, which have a large customer base and an increasing presence in the electric vehicle market.
