Krithi Shetty’s AlUla Desert Photoshoot Is Viral for a Reason

Krithi Shetty just handed the internet a masterclass in travel content — and AlUla, Saudi Arabia’s ancient desert destination, has never looked better doing it.

The Telugu actress is currently in AlUla for what can only be described as a cinematic desert diary. Her latest Instagram reel moves through the mirrored architectural marvel of Maraya, the winding lanes of Old Town AlUla, a Hegra safari, traditional Saudi coffee, local ice cream, and a hot-air balloon ride above sandstone cliffs. It’s the kind of content that makes you open a flight search tab mid-scroll.

Krithi Shetty in AlUla: Look, Location & Highlights

The fashion was as deliberate as the backdrop — a rust-toned paisley ensemble that practically dissolved into the sandstone, grounded by a sleek black quilted Louis Vuitton crossbody for that traditional-meets-contemporary contrast.

The beauty look matched the mood perfectly — soft waves, luminous skin, neutral tones. No maximalism. Just confident, camera-aware minimal glam that reads louder than anything overdone ever could.

AlUla itself has been quietly becoming a global aesthetic obsession — a UNESCO-recognised heritage site with 200,000 years of human history, dramatic Nabataean rock formations at Hegra, and the world-famous Maraya concert hall (the world’s largest mirrored building). Krithi’s reel essentially works as a destination campaign without trying to be one.
