KRAFTON India has announced the conclusion of its 2026 College Campus Tour Championship, marking the end of the second season of its collegiate esports initiative. The program engaged over 75,000 students across 128 colleges nationwide, establishing a platform for competitive gaming at the grassroots level. Gods Omen from Rishihood University, Sonipat, emerged as national champions, securing a prize of ₹2,00,000 and a direct qualification slot for BMPS 2026.

KRAFTON India- National Reach and Participation
Season 2 of the KRAFTON India College Campus Tour expanded its reach across Tier 1, 2, and 3 cities. The initiative aimed to integrate structured esports into university life, fostering talent development within India’s higher education system. The Grand Finals, held online for the first time, facilitated broader participation and viewership for campus esports across the country. Institutions such as IIT Madras, IIT Guwahati, IIT Bhubaneswar, IIM Indore, and IIIT Delhi were represented among the participating colleges.
Grand Finals Highlights
The three-day Grand Finals featured 16 top college Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) teams from four zones: North, South, East, and West. Competitors engaged across maps including Erangel, Miramar, and Rondo. Gods Omen from Rishihood University, Sonipat, accumulated 203 total points over 18 matches to claim the championship title.
9MM ESPORTS from G.B. Pant DSEU, New Delhi, secured the runner-up position, while Endeavour Esports from IIT Bhubaneswar finished third. AnujtooOp of Gods Omen was recognized as the individual MVP, receiving a prize of ₹10,000.

He highlighted esports as an equalizer, valuing skill, strategy, and teamwork. Pathak noted that the quality of play throughout Season 2, spanning 128 colleges, surpassed expectations.
The direct invitation for Gods Omen to BMPS 2026 is contingent upon completing all required documentation and formalities within KRAFTON India’s specified timeline. Should the team be unable to meet these requirements, the slot will be offered to the next eligible team based on the final standings.
