The film follows Mohan Sharma (Kapil Sharma), who converts to different religions to marry his love, Saniya. However, complications arise as he accidentally ends up married to three other women—Roohi, Meera, and Jenny. Each threatens self-harm if he leaves, forcing Mohan to juggle four marriages simultaneously.

The chaos amplifies when Mohan finally marries Saniya, only to discover a shocking twist: he was married as a child to a fifth woman! The narrative blends slapstick humor with unexpected twists, staying true to Kapil’s signature comedic style.

Cast & Performances

Kapil Sharma leads the ensemble alongside Manjot Singh, Hira Warina, Tridha Choudhury, Parul Gulati, and Ayesha Khan. The late veteran actor Asrani also features in his final role, making this film emotionally significant for fans. According to audience reviews, the Kapil-Manjot duo delivers natural chemistry that elevates the comedy sequences.

Critical Reception & Box Office

The sequel received mixed reviews from critics and audiences. Bollywood Hungama rated it 3.5/5 stars, calling it “a light-hearted, massy laugh-riot that fondly evokes the madcap comedies of the 90s”. However, the film made on a budget of ₹35 crore, grossed only ₹14.36 crores in India and ₹16.11 crores worldwide, underperforming compared to the 2015 original’s ₹70 crore collection.
