Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi has never shied away from pushing contestants to their limits, but this week’s task took things to a whole new level of painful. Gaurav Khanna, Karan Wahi, Vishal Aditya Singh, and Shagun Sharma all walked away with visible bruises after facing a brutal rubber bullet challenge.
What Happened On Khatron Ke Khiladi 15?
Host Rohit Shetty introduced a new twist called the Fear Fanda, handed to contestants in danger of elimination. Each team nominated two members for the stunt: Gaurav and Shagun represented the new batch, while Karan and Vishal stepped up for the old batch.
The task required all four to stand with their backs to shooters while rubber bullets were fired at them continuously. Spine protectors offered some cushioning, but contestants still described it as one of the toughest challenges of the season.
Who Got Hurt And How
| Contestant | Reaction Before/During Stunt | Outcome |
|---|---|---|
| Gaurav Khanna | Admitted he expected serious pain from the bullets | Found the pain unbearable, aborted the stunt |
| Shagun Sharma | Attempted the task alongside Gaurav | Also aborted due to pain |
| Karan Wahi | Called it a completely new challenge, relied on the protector | Completed the task with bruises |
| Vishal Aditya Singh | Paired with Karan for the old batch | Completed the task with bruises |
Gaurav Khanna Opens Up On Social Media
After the episode aired, Gaurav posted on his Instagram Stories describing it as the most painful experience of his time on the show, noting that all four contestants still carry the marks from the stunt. He added that while only his throat had been hurting from an earlier wire-related task, his entire body was now aching.
This isn’t the season’s first injury scare either — Rubina Dilaik faced a medical emergency during an earlier task, and Shagun Sharma nearly fainted in a separate stunt, underlining just how physically demanding this season has been.
