Kathar Basha Endra Muthuramalingam Movie Plot

Set in the picturesque district of Ramanathapuram, the story revolves around Tamizhselvi, a strong-willed villager who finds herself pressured by her relatives to marry one of her uncle’s sons to inherit her wealth. However, she resolutely refuses, leading her relatives to scheme against her with the help of the villagers. In a desperate attempt to escape this predicament, Tamizhselvi embarks on a journey to meet Kathar Basha, also known as Muthuramalingam, who is imprisoned. Although she spots her relatives and leaves, Kathar learns about Tamizhselvi’s plight and his connection to her family.

As the story unfolds, Kathar sets out to protect Tamizhselvi from her treacherous relatives, even going as far as defeating her uncle’s sons. In his quest to repay debts, Kathar tries to find a suitable groom for Tamizhselvi, but his efforts prove futile. However, a shocking revelation awaits Kathar, as he discovers that he is Kaluvan’s son, Tamizhselvi’s uncle, and the village chieftain who once saved his life. Kaluvan was forced into becoming the chieftain and abandoned by his wife, leading to Kathar being raised by Kaluvan’s friend Jamad.

Amidst these revelations, love blossoms between Kathar and Tamizhselvi, eventually leading them to tie the knot. However, their happiness is short-lived when Kathar is attacked by unknown henchmen. Unbeknownst to him, the orchestrator of this attack is Vedigundu Veliyan, seeking revenge for the actions Kathar took against his father, Veriyandi. In the past, Veriyandi aspired to become the chairman but was thwarted by Jamad, who took on the position to prevent further trouble. Kathar retaliates by severing Veriyandi’s limbs, resulting in his imprisonment and further fueling Veliyan’s vendetta.

Tamizhselvi’s relatives join forces with Veliyan, seeking to eliminate Kathar. Tamizhselvi donates half of her wealth to her relatives to safeguard her deceased brother’s children. Tragedy strikes during a bhoomi pooja when Veliyan plants a bomb, resulting in Tamizhselvi’s untimely demise. Consumed by rage and grief, Kathar exacts revenge by eliminating Tamizhselvi’s treacherous relatives and ultimately Veliyan, avenging his beloved’s death.
