Karim Adeyemi’s 2022 transfer to Dortmund on the right track

Borussia Dortmund and RB Salzburg are continuing talks for the transfer of Karim Adeyemi in the summer. The German striker is a priority target for the black and yellow club, and they have started negotiations with his current club about the move. 

Personal terms have been agreed between the player and Dortmund. Details such as salary and contract length have been finalised for the transfer – all that remains now is for the two clubs to come to an agreement regarding the transfer fee involved. 

Karim Adeyemi close to completing Borussia Dortmund switch 

The 20-year-old has been in remarkable form this season, which has spiked the interest from Dortmund. He has scored 20 goals and provided 5 assists across 38 appearances in all competitions. In the Champions League, the youngster scored three goals in eight appearances. 

With Erling Haaland likely to leave in the summer owing to his €75 million release clause, Dortmund are working hard to sign his replacement. While Haaland’s next destination has not been finalised yet, the likes of Real Madrid and Manchester City have been rumoured as the most probable destinations. 

Karim Adeyemi matches Dortmund’s ideal profile, as he is an upcoming youngster that the club can turn into a world-class talent. Niklas Sule from Bayern Munich will be making the move to Westfalenstadion in the summer as a free agent, and if the negotiations are completed according to plan, Adeyemi could be the next player to make the move in the summer.
