The Spaniard won the Nations League with Spain this summer, and has now left the spotlight of European club football alongside his former Barca teammates. He spent over ten years with the Blaugranes, making 459 appearances.

During this time, he won six La Liga titles and the Champions League in 2015. At 34, he is expected to see out the final chapter of his illustrious career in the MLS, and will have a huge task.

Inter Miami are winless in their last eleven MLS games, and will be looking to turn things around when they face Charlotte FC in August.

The presence of Jordi Alba will be a significant catalyst in their fortunes potentially changing for the better in the coming months.
