Jio Cinema Premium could soon be a reality after IPL 2023 – Know Everything in 2023
The free subscription provided by JioCinema in India, granting exclusive streaming rights for IPL 2023, will be ending soon. As a result, the OTT platform has unveiled three premium subscription plans in India, according to information leaked on Reddit.
Recently confirmed, all HBO movies and shows will soon be available on the JioCinema App. This enhances the value of upcoming Jio Cinema Premium Subscriptions in the long term.
Jio Cinema Premium Subscription Plans – Everything We Know So Far
The plans are quite affordable, starting at just ₹2 per day for the basic package, which allows streaming on two devices simultaneously. Additionally, there is a Gold quarterly plan for JioCinema Premium priced at ₹99, providing the same two-device streaming capability.
For an annual fee of ₹599, the Platinum pack provides support for streaming on four devices simultaneously and offers an ad-free experience for premium content. The leaked screenshot currently lacks further details, but it remains to be seen whether Jio Cinema Premium subscription plans will have resolution limitations based on different tiers.
The prices offered by JioCinema and Viacom18’s OTT platform, JioVoot, are significantly lower compared to competitors like Netflix, Hotstar, and Amazon Prime Video. Additionally, there have been rumors of a potential merger between JioCinema and JioVoot in order to provide consumers with more value for their subscription fee. This information is supported by a leaked URL that suggests the title of the merged platform could be “JIO VOOT.”
Reliance Jio users may receive any of these subscriptions along with their recharge, and JioFiber users may also receive the OTT subscription automatically. These are some of the details we currently know, and we will continue to update as more information becomes available in the coming days.
