Jasmin Bhasin Has Had Enough of Marriage Questions, And Her Diljit Dosanjh Film News Almost Got Buried Under It

Some questions just don’t have expiration dates, no matter how many times a celebrity answers them. Ahead of her Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 debut, Jasmin Bhasin sat down for an exclusive chat — and ended up spending most of it explaining why her wedding timeline is nobody’s business but her own.

Jasmin Bhasin: Interview Snapshot

Why She Pushed Back So Firmly

Bhasin didn’t hold back when addressing the constant questions about when she’ll get married. She made the point bluntly — pointing out that the people asking aren’t paying for the wedding or its arrangements, so it isn’t really their concern. Her larger argument was that marriage will happen whenever it happens, and that outsiders inserting themselves into that timeline serves no real purpose.

A Theory on Why People Keep Asking

Beyond just brushing off the question, Bhasin offered her own read on why it keeps coming up. She suggested some people might project their own unhappiness in relationships onto others, subconsciously wanting everyone else to share in that dissatisfaction rather than stay visibly content. She said she finds the pattern almost funny at this point, joking about it rather than letting it get to her.

The Diljit Dosanjh Project She’s Excited About

Amid the personal-life discussion, Bhasin also touched on her professional path, confirming her upcoming Punjabi film alongside Diljit Dosanjh. She expressed hope for a strong Bollywood debut down the line, framing her career trajectory as something she trusts will unfold with good timing, much like she feels about her personal life.

Why This Interview Resonates Beyond One Actress

Bhasin’s response taps into a broader frustration many public figures — especially women — voice about being repeatedly questioned on marriage and family planning as though it’s public property. Her willingness to call it out directly, rather than deflect politely, is likely part of why the interview is already generating strong reactions online.
