Why IVE’s “BANG BANG” Winning Three Times Is a Big Deal
IVE has built a reputation as one of fourth-generation K-pop’s most reliable hit machines — and “BANG BANG” is proof that they haven’t lost a single step. The track is only a pre-release single ahead of their main comeback, which means racking up three music show wins before the full album even drops is an extraordinary statement of dominance.
With 7,103 points edging out strong competition from KiiiKiii’s “404 (New Era)” and the rapidly rising Hearts2Hearts with “RUDE!”, the win reflects IVE’s consistent ability to mobilise their fanbase and chart a course straight to the top.
The encore stage — always a fan favourite moment — was every bit as electric as you’d expect.

The episode wasn’t just about IVE. NCT JNJM brought the energy with “BOTH SIDES,” while Hearts2Hearts proved “RUDE!” is a genuine chart contender after their strong nominee placement. RESCENE, ONE PACT, and X:IN also delivered performances worth revisiting.
