iQOO Z7 Pro introduced in India: Unveiling the Features and Specifications

The company is putting forth the processor and design as key distinguishing features of this device. The package for the Z7 Pro 5G includes the customary accessories, notably a 66W power adapter and a transparent case. The charging brick boasts a significant size and features a USB Type-A port. The pricing for the device is set at ₹21,999 and ₹22,999 for the 128GB and 256GB variants, respectively.

The iQOO Z7 Pro 5G presents a striking appearance, particularly in the Blue Lagoon color variant. An alternative option is the Graphite Matte color. Despite its slim profile, weighing just 175g and measuring a mere 7.36mm in thickness, the device exudes a premium aesthetic and provides a comfortable in-hand feel. Remarkably, iQOO has managed to accommodate a sizable 4,600mAh battery within this slender frame. Additionally, the phone possesses an IP52 rating, offering resistance against dust and water.

Another noteworthy aspect is the processor. The iQOO Z7 Pro 5G is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 SoC crafted using a 4nm fabrication process, which bodes well for power efficiency. iQOO is highlighting the phone’s potential to achieve an AnTuTu (v10) score surpassing 700K. Backed by 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, the device is available in two storage variants – 128GB and 256GB, both conforming to the UFS 2.2 standard.

The display further enhances the device’s premium feel. Sporting a spacious 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a full-HD+ resolution, the screen features curved edges on two sides and integrates an in-display fingerprint sensor. Impressively, the display boasts a touch sampling rate of 300Hz and a boosted rate of up to 1,200Hz, coupled with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is also fortified with Schott’s Xensation Up glass to ensure scratch protection.

The software framework of the iQOO Z7 Pro 5G operates on Funtouch OS 13 based on Android 13, with a suite of preinstalled applications. In terms of its camera capabilities, the phone is equipped with a 64-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel portrait lens, albeit lacking an ultra-wide camera. Notably, iQOO has integrated optical stabilization (OIS) for the main camera, employing the Samsung GW3 sensor. On the front, the device features a 16-megapixel selfie camera.
