On May 10, the business is most likely to reveal the Neo 8 series’ launch date. The MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ SoC, which was just released a few days ago, will power the future premium smartphone from iQOO, the company has already confirmed. The new MediaTek flagship SoC will most likely be found in the Neo 8 Pro, while the standard Neo 8 5G may come with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC.

On the 3C certification page, the Neo 8 Pro was discovered to support 120W fast charging. In addition, a Dimensity 9200+ SoC and 16GB of RAM were noted on Geekbench. In the single-core and multi-core tests of Geekbench 6, the device got scores of 2034 and 5245. The phone outperformed the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC in the ROG Phone 7 with a score of almost 1.3 million on AnTuTu.

According to rumors, the phone would have a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with 1.5K resolution and 2160Hz PWM dimming. Additionally, a 120Hz refresh rate will be supported. On the back, there will be a triple camera arrangement. A 50MP 1/1.5-inch primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) capability will most likely be available on the Neo 8 Pro.

The remaining two sensors’ specifications are yet unknown. A 5000mAh battery is also rumored to be included in the phone. A 6.78-inch screen with Full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz is also planned for the Neo 8. A 5000mAh battery and 120W fast charging abilities may also be included in the device’s specifications. There are no other specifics available regarding the phone.
