Pink Promise Match: A Celebration of Women’s Empowerment

The Rajasthan Royals will don the all-pink jersey during their highly anticipated Pink Promise Match against Mumbai Indians on May 1, 2025, at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. The event is not just a game but a statement of support for women’s empowerment and social progress.

The Royal Rajasthan Foundation (RRF), the team’s CSR arm, also marked the occasion by launching an impactful campaign film, ‘Aurat Hai Toh Bharat Hai’, celebrating the power and contributions of women across the country.

Kumar Sangakkara on ‘Pink Promise’

Rajasthan Royals’ Director of Cricket, Kumar Sangakkara, expressed the team’s deep connection to the initiative, saying:

“Through ‘Pink Promise’, we strive to create a lasting impact—not just on individuals, but on their families and communities, inspiring change that ripples far beyond. Last year, we saw how this initiative transformed lives, and that is something we deeply cherish.

As a team, we take immense pride in being part of this journey, spending meaningful time at the foundation to truly understand the work being done. ‘Pink Promise’ is more than a campaign; it is a cultural commitment that shapes our values and defines the standards we stand for.”

A Legacy of Impact and Change

Building on the success of last year’s campaign, the 2024 Pink Promise initiative—in collaboration with partners like Luminous—brought light to over 250 homes, positively impacting thousands of lives. The Rajasthan Royals continue to expand their vision, ensuring that the ‘Pink Promise’ movement grows stronger each year.

As IPL 2025 unfolds, the Pink Promise Match will not only be a spectacle of cricket but also a beacon of hope, inspiring change and encouraging inclusivity across communities. With this initiative, Rajasthan Royals once again prove that they are not just a cricket team, but a force for good.
