KKR are in a do or die situation right now. They have to win both their remaining games and be hopeful that other team’s that are aiming at the fourth spot lose their games. After posting a good total in the last game, Kolkata will be disappointed as they couldn’t defend against an inconsistent PBKS side. Although they will most likely continue to miss the services of their premier overseas players – Russell and Ferguson against SRH.

Sunrisers Hyderabad

SRH’s batting woes continue to affect their results as they lost their last game due to a dismal performance against Chennai. Their only respite so far has been an impressive bowling showcase by Rashid and Holder. With qualifying to the playoffs out of the question, there is only pride left at stake as they take on KKR.

Prediction for the IPL 2021 Match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad

Kolkata will be favourites to win this contest considering their current shape of the team. Moreover, their batting order is playing extremely well at the moment. Meanwhile, Hyderabad are facing a lot of problems with none of the bastman performing consistently. Therefore KKR are expected to emerge victorious against SRH at Dubai.

Fantasy XI Team

Venkatesh Iyer 9.5 Cr Captain

Iyer is in blazing form during this phase of IPL 2021. The opener played a swashbuckling knock of 67 in the last game which helped KKR set a good total. Moreover, Venkatesh’s ability to bowl at any given time makes him a valuable option. Therefore he will be my captain for today’s game.

Rashid Khan 9.5 Cr

Rashid Khan has been very economical for SRH in this phase of the tournament. The leg spinner’s wicket-taking and efficient bowling makes him a great option.

Rahul Tripathi 9 Cr

Tripathi’s aggressive batting has helped Kolkata score well after powerplay. Therefore one can expect him to make a big score against an underperforming Hyderabad team.

Varun Chakravarthy 9 Cr

Chakravarthy was the best bowler for KKR in the last game as he picked up 2 wickets for 24 runs. The Kolkata bowler almost pulled things back for his side against Punjab with his spell. Therefore one can expect Chakravarthy to give his side breakthroughs against an out of form SRH batting lineup.

Sunil Narine 9.5 Cr

Narine has played extremely well in the absence of Andre Russell. He has contributed in both front for KKR. Consequently, he will be very influential for his side today.

Jason Holder 9.5 Cr Vice Captain

Jason Holder has been Hyderabad’s best player throughout the UAE phase of IPL 2021. The West Indian has contributed in both departments and has become a crucial player for the side. Hence I have selected Holder as the vice captain for this game.

Nitish Rana 9 Cr

Nitish Rana scored a quick fire 31 against Punjab and gave good fantasy points in the last game. The Kolkata batsman seems to have found his touch and hence he could continue his good form against Srh today.

Shubhman Gill 8.5 Cr

Gill has not been cconsistent for Kolkata in this phase. However, the batsman could get some runs today against a shaky Hyderabad bowling attack.

Wriddhiman Saha 8.5 Cr

Saha played well to score 44 on a bowling friendly wicket against Csk in the last game. The wicket keeper batsman has scored reasonably since making his return to the lineup.

Shivam Mavi 8 Cr

Mavi took a wicket in his return for Kolkata against Punjab and finished his quota without being expensive. Hence one can expect the Indian fast bowler to take more wickets against the bottom places Hyderabad.

Jason Roy 9 Cr

Jason Roy failed to score big in the last game. However, the English batsman’s firepower can help Hyderabad get a much needed opening burst in the powerplay against a Kolkata side that will feature without Russell and Ferguson.
