iPhone 16 Pre-Order Rumor: Could Apple Change the Game with a Thursday Launch?

As Apple enthusiasts eagerly anticipate the unveiling of the iPhone 16, a new rumor has surfaced, suggesting a potential shake-up in the pre-order schedule. Traditionally, Apple has commenced pre-orders for its latest iPhones on Fridays. However, a recent claim from the German blog Macerkopf hints that this year’s pre-orders might kick off on Thursday, September 12, rather than the expected Friday, September 13.

Intriguing iPhone 16 Pre-Order Rumor: Could Apple Launch on a Thursday This Year?

The speculation arises as Apple gears up for its annual iPhone event on Monday, September 9. This scheduling is notable in itself, marking the first time Apple has chosen a Monday for its iPhone reveal, as past events have typically taken place on Tuesdays. This shift has sparked curiosity and debate among tech followers, raising questions about whether the earlier event date could influence the timing of pre-orders.

While the blog did not disclose its sources or provide a rationale behind this rumored change, the possibility of Apple deviating from its usual pre-order timeline is intriguing. It could be a strategic move to enhance marketing momentum or manage logistical aspects differently. Nonetheless, without official confirmation, this rumor should be taken with a grain of scepticism.

The significance of the event being held on a Monday adds another layer of intrigue. Could this be a sign that Apple is rethinking its launch strategies? While the exact implications remain unclear, Apple fans are buzzing with theories and predictions.

Ultimately, the official word from Apple during the September 9 event will put the speculation to rest. Whether the pre-orders start on Thursday or stick to the traditional Friday, one thing is certain: the excitement surrounding the iPhone 16 launch is palpable.
