iPad Air 5 featuring M1 chip starts at same ₹54900, Why it is the best launch by Apple so far?

Apple has launched the new iPad Air 5 yesterday and they actually feature its ground-breaking M1 chip inside it even though it’s a mid-range tablet. In India, this new iPad Air will cost you the same starting price as last year i.e. ₹54,900 which makes it an ideal choice for people who need a powerful machine at their palms.

As now you have the revolutionary M1 chip inside it, you no longer have to worry about opening heavy apps, working on video editing and do intensive gaming tasks at a fly. Pairing it up with Apple’s Smart Keyboard Folio or the Magic Keyboard will give the best experience overall.

With support for Apple Pencil (2nd generation), you have lot of opportunities as you can draw, edit, game, do anything with your Apple Pencil. Even though the cost of these accessories are quite high, however, if you want a more second PC kind of experience then you would like to pair these together.

But the significant upgrade in performance with M1 chip, which guarantees to give a MacBook Air like performance on an iPad Air, is truly what makes this iPad Air standout among the others. If you can replicate a PC like experience using the iPad Air then this is a great device to invest on as it even supports 5G as well.

Apple devices have always been a bit on the expensive side, but the base variant of the iPad Air 5 is very cost-effective as it will be available for only ₹54900. Or if you want to have 5G cellular connectivity you will have to pay ₹68900, similar to last year and the best variant with both cellular connectivity and 256GB storage will cost as much as ₹82900.

Now, if you compare with the Android competition, the performance is nowhere near to the M1 chip on the iPad Air, the nearest competition being the new Samsung Galaxy Tab S8, but if you are planning for a device to use in the long run. Considering all these factors, you would definitely get why the new iPad Air 5 featuring M1 chip is one of the best launches by Apple so far with amazing value-for-money proposition.
