Inter Milan planning to sign Hector Bellerin on a four-year deal

Inter recently had to let go of one of their most prized assets in Achraf Hakimi, with the Moroccan joining Paris Saint-Germain. The Nerazzurri have now turned their attention to a replacement for the wing-back in the form of Arsenal’s Hector Bellerin.

The player currently earns a salary worth €5.7 million per season in England. And should he make the switch to Italy, he will have to accept a pay cut due to Inter’s dire financial condition. According to reports, he might have to stay content with a salary worth €3.5 million per season.

Bellerin has been linked with a transfer away from the Emirates for a while now. PSG were the favorites to land his signature this summer, but they instead chose to sign Hakimi for a higher fee. The Spaniard has been offered a four-year deal by Inter Milan and could indeed make the switch since he has handed in a transfer request.

The 26-year-old has two years left on his contract with Arsenal, so Inter will have to pay a fee for him. Bellerin has been one of Arsenal’s most regular players since joining the club. He came through the Barcelona youth academy and then proceeded to join the Arsenal youth teams before being promoted to the first team.

Arsenal still see Bellerin as a big part of the club, and will try their best to keep him. However, he could leave in all likelihood.
