Star Sports has received a tepid response from the sponsor for the India versus South Africa T20 Series, as per reports. However, this hasn’t dampened the official broadcaster’s spirit. Starting on Thursday, Disney Star has opted to keep the Multi-language & Multi-channel plan for the series.
In how many languages will the series be broadcast?
The first T20 match between India and South Africa will be broadcast live on Star Sports networks. Star Sports 1, Star Sports 1 HD, Star Sports 1 Hindi, Star Sports 1 Hindi HD, Star Sports 1 Tamil, Star Sports 1 Telugu, Star Sports 1 Kannada, and Star Sports Bangla are among the channels available on Star Sports. There are still discussions going on if the series can get telecast in Oriya language for the very first time.
In a five-match T20 International series against South Africa, the Indian squad, captained by KL Rahul, will try to make history. The most consecutive T20I victories in history. Featuring the motto ‘ChaseTheRecord,’ the official broadcaster has also launched a campaign with Bollywood Megastar Aamir Khan.
In T20 Internationals, India is on a 12-match winning streak.
