In a surprising turn of events, the BCCI, which decided not to host an opening ceremony for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023, has had a change of heart. After the disappointment of no opening extravaganza during the World Cup opener between England and New Zealand on October 5, the cricket board is now considering a grand pre-match ceremony before the much-anticipated India vs. Pakistan match at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

This special pre-match ceremony is expected to be a star-studded affair. Renowned playback singer Arijit Singh, whose mesmerizing voice has captured the hearts of millions, is likely to grace the stage with his performance. Bollywood legends such as Amitabh Bachchan, Sachin Tendulkar, and Rajnikanth are confirmed guests at the event, adding an extra layer of glamour and excitement to the occasion.

BCCI secretary Jay Shah has presented these iconic figures with “Golden Tickets” for the ‘IND vs. PAK’ duel. Valued at over Rs 50,000, these tickets hold the distinction of being the most coveted seats in the stadium. Amitabh Bachchan and Rajnikanth, both known for their passionate cricket fervor, will undoubtedly bring an electric atmosphere to the stands.

With soaring demand for tickets, the BCCI has released an additional 14,000 tickets for the India vs. Pakistan face-off. The Narendra Modi Stadium, with a seating capacity of 110,000, is expected to witness a packed house for this historic match.

The stage is set for a memorable pre-match ceremony that will build anticipation and excitement to a fever pitch before the India vs. Pakistan clash. As cricket fans count down the days to this electrifying encounter, all eyes will be on the Narendra Modi Stadium, where legends will mingle, Arijit Singh will serenade, and the spirit of cricket will unite fans from both sides of the border.
