Two beloved K-dramas wrapped up on the same night — and the numbers told a heartwarming story of their own. On April 3, MBC’s In Your Radiant Season scored an average nationwide rating of 3.1 percent for its series finale — marking the show’s first time breaking the 3 percent barrier since its fifth episode a month ago. A fitting send-off for one of 2026’s most quietly beautiful romances.

In Your Radiant Season — A Healing Drama That Saved Its Best for Last

In Your Radiant Season stars Lee Sung-kyung and Chae Jong-hyeop in the story of Sunwoo Chan — a bright animator carrying hidden trauma — and Song Ha-ran, a designer emotionally frozen by grief, who reconnect and slowly heal each other. Wikipedia

The finale delivered everything fans had been waiting for. The series ends with Ha-ran tracking Sunwoo Chan to a remote town after spotting his distinctive iridescent cloud artwork online. When they reunite, Chan finally recovers his suppressed memories and learns he did not cause the Boston accident — it was triggered by a spilled chemical and a falling lighter. In the final moments, Chan proposes by the seaside, and Ha-ran happily accepts. Tissues, anyone?

Still Shining Wraps Up Quietly but Steadily

JTBC’s Still Shining also aired its two-part finale on the same night, with both episodes scoring a consistent 0.8 percent nationwide — matching the previous week’s figure and closing out its run on a stable note.

Phantom Lawyer Continues to Dominate

While the finales closed emotional chapters, SBS’s Phantom Lawyer continued its reign as the most-watched miniseries of the Friday slot, taking first place across all channels with an impressive 7.6 percent nationwide rating. That’s a gap worth noting.
