There is something about hearing your favourite group announce a comeback live, right in front of you, at the end of a concert — and ILLIT delivered exactly that experience for their Seoul fanbase. After a night of performances at their ongoing PRESS START♥︎ Asia tour, the members surprised the crowd by revealing the title and release date of their upcoming project.

The reaction from the audience was electric, and fan-captured video of the moment spread across social media platforms within minutes of the show ending, with GLLIT worldwide joining in the excitement. The title “It’s Me” has already sparked a wave of fan theories and anticipation about the mood and direction of the new music.

Who Is ILLIT and Why Does This Comeback Matter?

Debuting in March 2024, ILLIT shot to global attention with their viral hit Magnetic, which dominated streaming charts and made them one of the fastest-rising girl groups of the fourth-generation K-pop era. Their debut mini album Super Real Me was an immediate commercial and critical success, and the group has since built a devoted international fanbase that tracks their every move.

With “It’s Me” arriving on April 30, the group is entering what promises to be a packed K-pop season — and if the title is anything to go by, this comeback might lean into a more personal, identity-driven sound. The teaser campaign is expected to begin shortly ahead of the April 30 drop.
