From a Friend’s Birthday Party to “I Do” — Dua Lipa and Callum Turner Are Officially Married

It’s the wedding the internet has been quietly waiting for. Pop superstar Dua Lipa and British actor Callum Turner have tied the knot — and in keeping with their deeply private love story, they chose to do it in the most understated, elegant way possible.

Dua Lipa and Callum Turner Wedding: Key Facts

Dua Lipa and Callum Turner exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony at Old Marylebone Town Hall in London, in the presence of family and close friends. According to The Sun, Dua wore custom Schiaparelli haute couture, while Turner looked dapper in a sophisticated navy Ferragamo suit.

How It All Began

According to Page Six, the pair’s relationship first came into the spotlight in January 2024, when they were spotted together at the afterparty for Turner’s Masters of Air premiere. Their romance continued to grow over the following months, with the couple frequently appearing together at events and sharing glimpses of their relationship.

In an interview with The Sunday Times in October 2025, Callum Turner revealed they first met at a mutual friend’s birthday celebration in Los Angeles, describing their bond as immediate and natural. That is, genuinely, the most romantic origin story — no apps, no PR setups, just a birthday party and a conversation that changed everything.

The Bachelorette That Gave It All Away

Earlier in May, Lipa fuelled speculation about her upcoming wedding when she shared photographs from Ibiza, celebrating with her closest friends. Fans quickly noticed a suitcase filled with bridal-white outfits, sparking widespread excitement about a possible pre-wedding getaway.

Turns out the internet was right — and the wedding followed shortly after.

The Grand Sicily Celebration Ahead

The London ceremony was clearly just the beginning. According to The Daily Mail, the couple is expected to host a grand three-day wedding event in Sicily, Italy, centred around the historic 17th-century Villa Valguarnera, with a high-profile guest list reportedly including Elton John, Mark Ronson, Charli XCX, Donatella Versace, and Simon Porte Jacquemus. pinkvilla

Old Marylebone Town Hall has a long history as one of London’s most iconic wedding venues, having hosted ceremonies for numerous celebrities over the decades — making it a perfectly fitting choice for one of music’s biggest stars to begin her next chapter.
