Dua Lipa’s 31st Birthday Weekend Was a Stylish New York Celebration

Dua Lipa has finally given fans a glimpse of how she celebrated turning 31, ending several days of anticipation with a collection of photos from her birthday weekend.

The singer had teased her birthday celebrations on August 21 with a striking, fitted black dress. But the actual celebration remained under wraps until August 24, when she shared a series of snapshots showing different outfits, outings, food and sweet treats.

Dua Lipa’s Birthday Looks Kept Changing

Rather than sticking with the glamorous black dress from her pre-birthday post, Dua showcased several different looks throughout the weekend.

One celebration photograph showed the singer in a short black dress with a hint of transparency, while another daytime outfit featured a white top, black bottom, red scarf and matching red bag. Her hair was pulled back, giving the casual ensemble a polished finish.

The variety of outfits made the birthday post feel more like a visual diary of the entire weekend than a single party reveal.

A Day at Art Omi

One of the highlights of the celebration was a visit to Art Omi, the sculpture park in Ghent, New York.

Dua spent a sunny day there with actor Callum Turner, with the couple currently spending time in New York because of their professional commitments. Turner has filming work in the city, while Dua has also been connected to New York’s music scene.

The singer has reportedly been spotted at Electric Lady Studios as she works on new music, adding a professional dimension to what otherwise looked like a relaxed birthday getaway.

Cakes, Ice Cream and Plenty of Sweet Treats

The birthday carousel also revealed a generous selection of desserts.

Among the standout details was a white cake decorated with pink and purple flowers carrying the message “Happy Birthday Beba.” Another cake had a rich brown, chocolate-inspired appearance.

Cakes, ice cream and other desserts appeared throughout the collection, giving fans a peek at the more playful side of the celebration.

A Birthday Weekend With Dua’s Signature Style

The celebration combined several things that have become closely associated with Dua Lipa’s public image: fashion, travel, music and carefully curated moments.

Instead of revealing everything immediately, the singer allowed fans to wait a few days before showing what actually happened. The delayed reveal made the eventual birthday carousel even more interesting.

From glamorous eveningwear to a relaxed daytime outfit, an art-filled New York outing and an impressive collection of desserts, Dua’s 31st birthday weekend appeared to be a celebration built around style, creativity and time with loved ones.
