Huawei has recently launched two new powerful high-end monitors especially for gamers and content creators for high-level editings: Huawei MateView and MateView GT. Both the monitors have some pretty exciting and cool features, such as a high-refresh-rate panel, HDR support, and one of the best parts is that the MateView GT has an integrated soundbar. As of now, the monitors have been launched by Huawei only for the German market, with no confirmation regarding the global availability of those devices. So, let’s get into the specifications of each of the devices.
Huawei MateView
The most important part of a monitor is its display panel and this new beast from Huawei will not disappoint you as it offers a 28.2-inch (3,840 x 2,560) panel with a refresh rate of 60Hz and a peak brightness of 500 nits. As per the color gamut, it has 100% of the sRGB and 90% of the DCI-P3. This monitor is certified by HDR and VESA Display HDR 400.
If you are a content creator and looking for a monitor that gives accurate colors, the Huawei Mateview should be your first choice. Like other high-end new generation monitors, it also has a bunch of ports: two USB Type-C ports, three USB 3.0 Type-A ports, a mini-DP 2.1 port, and an HDMI 2.0 port is there as well. Another cool thing is that the Huawei MateView draws power from a USB Type-C port.
As per its pricing and availability, the MateView will be available soon in the German market at a price tag of EUR 699.
Huawei MateView GT
The Huawei MateView GT is on another level in terms of the display panel as it offers a curved (1500R) 34-inch WQHD (3,440 x 1,440) panel clocked at 165Hz with an average brightness of 350 nits. However, the color accuracy is a bit less than the standard MateView monitor. This monitor has been manufactured especially for high-end gamers.
It has an integrated soundbar as well. Coming to the ports section, the MateView GT doesn’t disappoint at all as it has two HDMI 2.0 ports, one DP port, a 3.5mm combo audio jack, and a USB Type-C port. Similar to the MateView monitor, the GT one also draws power from the USB-C port.
As per its pricing and availability, the MateView GT will be available soon in the German market at a price tag of EUR 549.
