HTC, bet that is a name that you have not heard of in a long time. The brand has scheduled an event for the 28th of June where it is expected to release its latest 5G smartphone, the event is called the Login Future event, and the 5G smartphone will be integrated with the company’s metaverse called Viverse.
HTC’s latest smartphone launch was delayed due to supply chain issues
The smartphone maker had announced its phone during this year’s mobile world congress that it was working on an innovative smartphone set to be integrated with its animated virtual world called the Viverse. The launch of this series was set back due to the pandemic, in April 2022, the launch was postponed indefinitely. Hopefully, this time the smartphone makes it to the market as we do not even have any specifications with respect to it.
The brand got the smartphone certified last month by a Dutch-based authority. The model with code 2QBK200 was certified by Telefication, while a 15W wireless charger also recently obtained certification. We can expect the new phone to arrive with support for wireless charging.
Coming to the Viverse platform is the culmination of a strong partnership between HTC and multiple other telecom companies. It is already functional in the Exodus Series of blockchain smartphones.
In the coming days, we are likely to see more details emerge with respect to the impending launch of the smartphone. HTC is expected to release the entire spec list and smartphones are set to be unveiled eventually along with the pricing details.
