Hrithik Roshan is Now a Producer to Reckon With — ‘Storm’ & ‘Mess’ First Looks Are Here and They Look Brilliant

Forget just being a superstar — Hrithik Roshan is building a production empire. At Amazon Prime Video’s massive 2026 slate reveal in Mumbai, HRX Films officially announced two major collaborations with Prime Video: a gripping thriller series called Storm and a dark comedy film called Mess — both backed by Hrithik and his brother Eshaan Roshan. Both got first-look reveals, and honestly, the casts alone are enough to get excited about.

Storm — Five Women. One Deadly Scam. No Easy Escape.

Storm follows the story of five women — each carrying their own wounds, dreams, and deadly secrets — who are drawn into a web of deception when a sustainable housing project unravels into a deadly scam that threatens to crush them or set them free.

The thriller series is created and directed by Ajitpal Singh — the acclaimed filmmaker behind Tabbar — who co-wrote it with Francois Lunel and Swati Das. G FUEL This is a pedigree hire. Ajitpal Singh’s Tabbar was one of the most quietly devastating series of recent years, making him the perfect director for this kind of pressure-cooker thriller.

The first look introduced a remarkable ensemble: Parvathy Thiruvothu, Alaya F, Srishti Shrivastava, Rrama Sharma, and Saba Azad as the five leads, alongside key cast members Suvinder Pal Vicky, Ashish Vidyarthi, Rajit Kapur, Ashok Pathak, Gautam Rode, Priyanka Setia, and Ranjan Raj.

Five extremely different actresses, one explosive premise. This one could be the prestige hit of Prime Video’s 2026 calendar.

Mess — Wrong House. Right Chaos. Pure Comedy Gold.

Mess follows a motley group of robbers who slowly realise they have become the real victims in a night-long standoff when they invade the family home of a man with OCD. It sounds wildly fun — and the casting makes it even better.

The film is directed by Rajesh A Krishnan (Lootcase fame) and produced by HRX Films in association with Krishnan’s Soda Films Lab. The screenplay — originally written by Paul Soter — has been adapted for India by Kapil Sawant.

Pratik Gandhi plays the man with OCD at the centre of the madness, with Ranvir Shorey, Gajraj Rao, and Anurag Thakur rounding out the cast.

That combination — Pratik Gandhi’s impeccable comic timing, Gajraj Rao’s effortless warmth, Ranvir Shorey’s unpredictable energy — has “instant classic” written all over it.
