HP launches new dual display gaming laptop – HP Omen X 2S with up to Core i9 9880H & RTX 2080 Max-Q graphics in India starting at Rs.2,09,990
Dual display laptops are on a trend these days, gaming brands like ROG, Predator have already shown their dual display gaming laptops and the recently introduced Omen X 2S is finally landing to India.
Apart from boasting a 6-inch 1080p touchscreen panel that is mounted on the top of the keyboard, this laptop features a stunning 15.6-inch Full-HD IPS Antiglare micro-edge screen with a 144Hz refresh rate.
The micro-edge bezel on this gaming laptop revolutionizes your display by letting a larger screen fit into a smaller frame. NVIDIA G-SYNC technology has been enabled on this laptop for a sharp, stutter-free gaming experience with minimal input lag.
The second display here helps gamers to work simultaneously while playing games. You can select your song from Spotify on the go, or just reply to your recent chat using the secondary touchscreen display.
HP Omen X 2S is powered by up to Intel 9th-gen Core i9 9880H processor coupled with up to 16GB of DDR4 RAM, and up to 1TB of M.2 PCIe SSD. On the graphics front, you get up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Max-Q graphics.
Also options for using Intel Optane storage is available. The laptop is a thin laptop considering its heavy specs as it comes with a 20mm thin metal chassis.
HP has implemented the new OMEN Tempest Cooling Technology that helps to provide the ultimate thermal solution and system stability.The laptop features 3-sided venting for 5-way airflow and a 12V fan module with 3-phase motor and fluid dynamic bearings.
The Thermal Grizzly liquid metal thermal paste used on this gaming laptop provides 10x better thermal conductivity. HP Omen X 2S has a per-key RGB N-Key rollover keyboard.
You can even customize RGB lights on both the keyboard and the Omen logo using the OMEN Command Center software. It also packs the HP Wide Vision FHD Webcam.
This gaming laptop comprises of built-in dual stereo speakers which is furthermore enhanced by BANG & OLUFSEN Audio. The laptop has a modest weight of 2.35 kg only.
It has a huge 72Whr battery along with dual array digital microphone. Ports on this laptop include three USB Type-A ports, one USB Type-C port, one HDMI port, one audio jack.
Also, there’s the Precision Touchpad along with multi-touch gesture support. On the connectivity front, you have the 802.11a/b/g/n/ac (2 x 2) WiFi and Bluetooth 5 support.
HP Omen X 2S gaming laptop has been priced in India with a starting price tag of Rs.2,09,990.It will be available in Shadow Black colour option. It will be made available from July 1st onwards via HP.com and other retailers.
