HP Introduces New DeskJet Printers for Home Users in India: Six vibrant models with self-healing Wi-Fi, 70% recycled plastic, and complimentary educational resources launch as India’s hybrid work culture expands
As hybrid working continues to gain momentum in India, with 88% of Indian employees preferring flexible arrangements, HP has launched a new range of DeskJet All-in-One printers designed specifically for the evolving needs of students, parents, and professionals working from home.
Meeting India’s Growing Home Printing Demand
The timing is strategic. With remote work now normalized across India’s IT sector and families increasingly seeking compact, Wi-Fi-enabled solutions, HP’s new DeskJet series addresses this shift with smart technology and contemporary design. The portfolio includes four models across HP DeskJet, HP DeskJet Ink Advantage, and HP DeskJet Ultra Ink Advantage lineups, offering balance between ease, efficiency, and cost-effective performance.

“As Indian homes evolve, families are increasingly seeking next-generation printing solutions that are compact, Wi-Fi enabled, and easy to use, while blending seamlessly into their daily lives,” said Satish Kumar, Senior Director, India Market – Print Category, HP Inc.
Smart Features for Modern Households
The new HP DeskJet All-in-One series makes home printing effortless through several key innovations. Reliable dual-band Wi-Fi with self-healing technology automatically reconnects if connections drop—crucial for uninterrupted printing during important work-from-home tasks or children’s online classes.
Print speeds range from 7.5 pages per minute for color documents on most models, with the HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 4388 featuring an automatic document feeder for higher-volume needs. Multi-device printing functionality via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi through the HP App enables seamless printing from smartphones, tablets, and laptops throughout the home.

Sustainability Meets Style
Standing out from typical office equipment, these printers feature contemporary white bases with vibrant accent colors including Very Peri, Warm Aroma, Surf Blue, Machu Picchu, and Pimento. More importantly, all models contain at least 70% post-consumer recycled plastic content and are recyclable through the HP Planet Partners program, addressing growing environmental consciousness among Indian consumers.
Education-Focused Value Addition
Every printer includes a complimentary 1-year HP Print Learn Center subscription (valued at INR 899), providing access to extensive educational worksheets via the HP app or website—particularly valuable for parents supporting children’s home-based learning.

Pricing and Availability
Models start at just INR 6,999 for the HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 2986 and 2989, while the feature-rich HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 4388 with automatic document feeder is priced at INR 7,999. All are available through HP World stores and the HP Online store, with select models rolling out in coming weeks.
As India’s work-from-home landscape continues evolving, HP’s new DeskJet range positions itself as the accessible, sustainable solution for modern households seeking reliable printing without compromise.
