What Are Factions in ARC Raiders?

Factions are community-led initiatives started by popular Twitch streamers, not official developer content from Embark Studios. The war began when HutchMF was downed and taunted with the phrase “For the Bungulators” by TheBurntPeanut’s supporters, sparking an all-out digital conflict.

How to Join Any Faction

Joining is remarkably simple—equip the designated outfit and colors chosen by each faction’s leader, and you automatically become a member. No registration, no permissions needed. Just wear the uniform and head topside!

The Bungulators (Winners of Battle for Speranza)

TheBurntPeanut’s Bungulators emerged victorious on November 22, 2025, defeating HutchMF’s faction in the Battle for Speranza. Notable members include Shroud, Ninja, Myth, summit1g, and cloakzy.

How to Join: Equip the Striker outfit with specific color variants. This outfit unlocks through gameplay merit points from the “Breaking New Grounds” community event.

Expect: Constant PvP with FMF members and aggressive territorial control.

How to Join: Equip the Founder outfit with red colors.

Expect: You’re at war with The Bungulators on sight.

Neutral & Peaceful Factions

xQc’s Faction – Remain neutral in the conflict while maintaining your own identity. Wear the Original skin in Blue.

Civilians of Speranza – Focus on destroying ARC machines and helping fellow raiders rather than PvP. Created by community pages wanting peaceful gameplay.

The Merchants – Led by The Gaming Merchant, this faction protects solo players and maintains order. Always carry a Defibrilator to revive downed raiders and help newcomers survive.

Streamer War Impact

ARC Raiders sold over four million copies and is currently trending above Battlefield 6 and Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 on Steam, partly due to the viral faction war creating massive word-of-mouth publicity.

According to Insider Gaming, this community-driven roleplay event represents one of the most loaded community initiatives in recent gaming history.

FAQs

Q: Are ARC Raiders factions official game features?

A: No, factions are entirely community-created initiatives led by popular streamers, not official content from Embark Studios. Players join by wearing designated outfits that identify their allegiance, creating organic PvP and roleplay opportunities.

Q: What happens if I wear faction colors accidentally?

A: You’ll be treated as a member of that faction by other players. Wearing Bungulator or FMF colors means you’ll likely face PvP confrontations with opposing faction members. If you want to avoid the gang war entirely, wear neutral colors or join peaceful factions like The Civilians of Speranza or The Merchants.
