Just when you think Honour has delivered its biggest twist — it flips the table again. Episodes 9 and 10 of ENA’s gripping legal thriller served the most jaw-dropping hour of the season so far, answering the question everyone had been screaming at their screens: Who is Han Min Seo, and who actually killed Park Jae Yeol?

Honour Big Reveal: Han Min Seo Was the Green Hood All Along

In episode 9, it was revealed that Han Min Seo — the victim L&J had been sheltering — was in fact the mysterious “Green Hood” figure who had been lurking throughout the series. Fans had speculated endlessly, but the confirmation hit like a freight train. She didn’t stick around to face the fallout either. She left behind the deceased journalist Lee Jun-hyuk’s laptop with a note reading “It’s a gift” and disappeared.

How Did Park Jae Yeol Die? The Truth Is Gut-Wrenching

This is the moment the whole show had been building toward. Han Min Seo lured Park Jae Yeol — panicked after being accused of leaking a video — to L&J’s safe house where victims were sheltered. Park Jae Yeol went on a violent rampage, firing a gun and brutally assaulting Kang Shin Jae and Hwang Hyun Jin in a scene chillingly reminiscent of the attack 20 years ago.

As he aimed to pull the trigger on them, Yoon Ra Young struck his head with a metal pipe, killing him instantly. It was Ra Young — not Min Seo — who landed the fatal blow. But Min Seo recorded everything, and the message she sent afterwards broke every heart in the audience: “Thank you, mom, for killing dad.” Around her neck was a necklace Ra Young had left at her daughter’s grave — revealing Min Seo was the daughter Ra Young thought was dead.

The Mastermind Behind Everything: Baek Tae Joo

The episode’s final gut punch belonged to Baek Tae Joo. Watching Park Jae Yeol’s death on his phone, he remarked, “The safest way to dispose of a used-up bomb is to pull the pin,” strongly suggesting he had orchestrated the entire scandal — right back to the sexual bribery list from 20 years ago. The real chess master was never Park Jae Yeol. He was just a pawn.

Honour is a remake of the 2019 Swedish series Heder and continues to prove why the original story needed a Korean retelling. For more K-drama recaps, episode explainers, and OTT updates, head over to TechnoSports and explore our latest Korean entertainment coverage.

FAQs

Q: Who is Han Min Seo in Honour K-drama, and why did she call Ra Young “mom”?

Han Min Seo is Yoon Ra Young’s daughter, presumed dead, who had secretly returned — wearing her mother’s necklace — to orchestrate justice against Park Jae Yeol, her own father and abuser.

Q: Did Ra Young intend to kill Park Jae Yeol in episodes 9–10?

It was not premeditated — Ra Young struck Park Jae Yeol with a metal pipe to save her colleagues who were being attacked, making the act one of desperate self-defence rather than planned murder.
