HONOR just rewrote the rulebook for foldables. Unveiled at MWC 2026 in Barcelona, the HONOR Magic V6 is simultaneously the slimmest book-style foldable ever made at 8.75mm and houses the largest battery ever fitted into a foldable at 6660mAh. That combination alone makes it the most technically impressive foldable announced this year.

Why the Magic V6 Sets a New Standard

Everything about the Magic V6 screams engineering ambition. Getting a 6660mAh silicon-carbon battery into an 8.75mm folded chassis is a feat that rivals — including Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Xiaomi MIX Fold 5 — haven’t matched. The 921Wh/L energy density is what makes it possible, and the result is a foldable that doesn’t require the usual battery compromise.

The dual displays both use LTPO OLED with dynamic 1–120Hz — the cover screen hitting an extraordinary 6,000 nits peak brightness for outdoor visibility that beats most slab flagships. The 64MP telephoto with CIPA 6.5-standard stabilisation is the highest-resolution telephoto on any foldable to date, and HONOR’s AiMAGE Color Engine with multi-sensor fusion is designed to deliver colour accuracy HONOR confidently compared to the iPhone 17 Pro Max.

IP69 — the highest waterproofing certification, covering high-pressure water jets — alongside IP68 is another industry first for a foldable. As TechnoSports has noted, HONOR is systematically closing every gap that made foldables feel like compromises.

The Agentic AI suite, including an AI Meeting Agent and Cross App Action, takes full advantage of the expansive inner display. Even Apple Connectivity — seamless pairing with MacBooks, iPads, and AirPods — is baked in, which is a genuinely surprising move.
