What Happens in His & Hers?
Set against Atlanta’s sweltering heat, the thriller follows Anna Andrews, a reclusive former news anchor living in isolation. Her quiet existence shatters when she learns about a murder in her hometown of Dahlonega, Georgia—a case being investigated by her estranged husband, Detective Jack Harper.
As Anna dives into the investigation, searching for answers that might resurrect her career, Jack grows increasingly suspicious of her involvement. The tagline says it all: “There are two sides to every story: His & Hers, which means someone is always lying.”
The series explores dueling perspectives, where reality shifts depending on whose version you believe. This narrative structure keeps viewers guessing about truth, motivation, and who’s really guilty.

Why His & Hers Stands Out
Director William Oldroyd (Lady Macbeth) brings his signature dark, intimate filmmaking style to this adaptation. The creative team’s decision to tell the story through competing viewpoints—his and hers—creates unreliable narration that forces audiences to question everything.
Thompson’s transition from Marvel blockbusters to this character-driven thriller showcases her range, while Bernthal (The Punisher, The Walking Dead) brings intensity to Detective Harper. The chemistry between two actors playing estranged spouses navigating murder and mistrust promises to be electric.
