Hanuman Ansh’s Miracle Run Continues With A Massive 228% Box Office Jump

Written off after a shaky start, this devotional drama is now pulling off one of the most unexpected turnarounds at the Indian box office this year.

Hanuman Ansh recorded its biggest day yet on the Raksha Bandhan holiday, collecting Rs. 6.25 crore nett — a staggering 228% jump from the previous day. That pushes its running total to Rs. 17.70 crore nett, with trade estimates pointing to a full fourth-weekend haul of around Rs. 25 crore.

Hanuman Ansh: Box Office Journey So Far

From Deathbed To Clean Hit

Hanuman Ansh opened to just around Rs. 10 lakh nett and limped through its first week at roughly Rs. 90 lakh. Week two was even rougher, as Independence Day releases ate into its showcasing. But week three brought a dramatic comeback — the film crossed Rs. 10 crore nett that week alone — and the momentum has only grown stronger since.

With this trajectory, Hanuman Ansh has now emerged as a Clean Hit, joining a rare club of low-budget devotional films that have defied early expectations. It follows in the footsteps of last year’s Mahavatar Narsimha and Laalo: Krishna Sada Sahaayate, both of which pulled off similarly unexpected box office runs.
