Handcuffed and Head Over Heels: First Look at Yim Si Wan and Seol In Ah’s “Love in Disguise”

A pair of handcuffs usually means trouble. In tvN’s upcoming drama “Love in Disguise,” it means something far more complicated — and a lot more romantic. The show’s newly unveiled poster gives fans their first real look at the dynamic between its two leads, and it’s already generating buzz.

What “Love in Disguise” Is About

The romance thriller follows Yoon Yi Jun, an arrogant chaebol heir who suddenly finds himself the prime suspect in a murder case, and Kang Jae Hee, a former special forces officer who goes undercover as his personal secretary to investigate him from the inside. The series is adapted from the popular webtoon and web novel known in literal translation as “Why Don’t You Know She’s a Woman?”

Yim Si Wan takes on the role of Yoon Yi Jun, the third-generation heir to Korea’s top conglomerate, while Seol In Ah plays Kang Jae Hee, the detective hiding in plain sight as his secretary.

The First Poster Sets the Tone

The newly released poster shows the two leads bound together by handcuffs, their expressions calm and composed despite the obvious tension of the situation. That contrast — outward nonchalance paired with clear physical closeness — hints at exactly the kind of slow-burn, dangerous-edge romance the drama is aiming for. The poster’s tagline leans directly into that mood, playfully declaring the accused guilty of making hearts race rather than committing any actual crime.
