Haier Launches 596L Side-by-Side Fridge With BPA-Free Water Dispenser

Haier India has just made the premium side-by-side refrigerator segment a lot more accessible. The brand has launched a new 596-litre 2-Door Side-by-Side Refrigerator with a built-in BPA-Free Water Dispenser, priced at ₹65,990 — bringing smart cooling, AI features, and hygienic hydration to modern Indian kitchens at one of the most competitive price points in this category.

Haier 596L SBS Refrigerator: Key Specs & Features

What Makes This Refrigerator Stand Out?

The headline feature is the built-in 2.5-litre BPA-Free water dispenser — a first for Haier’s side-by-side lineup at this price tier. It lets you access chilled water without opening the fridge door, which sounds minor until you realise how much cold air (and energy) you save doing that over a year.

The Smart Sense AI is the other standout. It doesn’t just cool — it learns your household’s usage patterns and ambient conditions, then adapts automatically to maintain consistent freshness and optimise energy use. Paired with 100% Convertible storage, you can reconfigure compartments depending on whether you need more fridge space for produce or more freezer space for bulk cooking.

WiFi connectivity via the HaiSmart App means you can monitor and adjust temperature settings from your phone, and the external LED display means you’re not cracking the door every time you want to tweak a setting — small things that add up to real convenience in daily use.

For families upgrading from a standard double-door fridge, this is a compelling step up. The 596-litre capacity is substantial enough for large households, and the Expert Inverter Technology keeps noise low and energy bills in check over the long run.

The range is available across retail stores, e-commerce platforms, and the Haier India website. The water dispenser feature is also available in Haier’s 3-door SBS variant for those who want even more storage.
