Gullu’s Secret 2024 Marriage: Inside His 5-Month Low Phase on Bigg Boss 20

Bigg Boss 20 just delivered one of its rawest confessions yet. Contestant Kushal Tanwar, aka Gullu, opened up to fellow housemate Qazi Touqeer about a secret marriage that lasted barely four to five months before ending in a 2024 divorce — a chapter he’d kept hidden from the world until now.

What Gullu Actually Said?

Sitting inside the house, Gullu didn’t hold back. “It wasn’t a breakup-type heartbreak, but still a heartbreak,” he admitted, explaining that family pressure pushed him into marriage in the first place. He described the classic dilemma many face back home: “Aap kuch kar nahi rahe toh shaadi kar lo” — basically, get married because you’re not “doing” anything else with your life.

Things got messier when his wedding photo leaked online while he was still filming Roadies and technically still married. He’d already decided he wanted out, but his family wanted him to stay in the marriage — a conflict that reportedly caused a serious rift, with his family cutting off communication for a while.
