GTA VI India Price Revealed: Pre-Orders Now Live for PS5, Xbox

The wait is finally over. Rockstar Games has officially confirmed GTA VI’s India pricing, and pre-orders are live right now for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Here’s everything you need to know before you hit that buy button.

How Much Will GTA VI Cost in India?

Rockstar has officially confirmed pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto VI starting June 25, ending months of speculation. The Standard Edition is priced at ₹5,999, while the Ultimate Edition will set you back ₹7,499 — making GTA VI one of the priciest console games to launch in India.

For context on how this stacks up against other big titles, our PS5 games price guide breaks down what Indian gamers usually pay at launch.

Standard vs Ultimate Edition: What’s the Difference?

If you mainly care about the story and world, the Standard Edition covers you fine. The Ultimate Edition is for fans who want extra cosmetics and a small head start from day one.

Where to Pre-Order, and a Few Catches

You can pre-book GTA VI through the PlayStation Store, Xbox/Microsoft Store, the Rockstar Store, and select retail partners across India. Worth noting: there’s currently no confirmed PC version, so console remains the only way in at launch.

Also pay attention to this if you’re buying a physical copy — retail boxes in India will only include a digital download code, not an actual disc. So functionally, every copy is a digital purchase either way.

The Bottom Line

GTA VI’s India pricing is steep but expected for a flagship Rockstar release. With November 19, 2026 as the official launch date, early pre-orderers lock in the Vintage Vice City Pack and a head start — so decide your edition now rather than scrambling closer to launch.
