Rockstar Games rarely does anything the conventional way, and its upcoming GTA 6 Extended Look appears to be no exception. A fresh leak suggests the highly anticipated presentation, premiering first on Netflix, could be split into three distinct episodes rather than delivered as a single showcase event.

Where the Leak Came From

The rumor traces back to a Reddit user who shared a screenshot allegedly from the Netflix Portugal listing page, showing the GTA 6 Extended Look broken into three separate episodes with individual runtimes.

GTA 6 Extended Look: Leaked Episode Timings

Episode	Approximate Runtime
Episode 1	~22 minutes
Episode 2	~24 minutes
Episode 3	~16 minutes
Total Runtime	~1 hour

Notably, follow-up posts on X citing the same source have listed slightly more precise timings — 23:37, 24:41 and 18:29 respectively — totaling one hour, six minutes and 47 seconds, though nothing here is officially confirmed by Rockstar or Netflix.

Why a Netflix Debut Makes Sense

Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick previously hinted at the reasoning behind streaming the presentation on Netflix first, and this leak only reinforces that framing — suggesting the Extended Look could feel more like binge-watching a prestige show than watching a traditional game trailer.

What Each Episode Might Cover

Fan speculation, based on the leak, points toward Episode 1 focusing on overall gameplay and Vice City exploration, Episode 2 diving deeper into protagonists Jason and Lucia alongside core mechanics, and Episode 3 rounding things out with additional footage and possible GTA Online details.

What’s Confirmed So Far

The GTA 6 Extended Look is officially set to premiere on August 27, 2026, first via Netflix and later on YouTube, ahead of the game’s November 19, 2026 launch. For official confirmations as they arrive, fans can check Rockstar Games’ official Newswire.
