Google has finally unveiled the Pixel Buds A and that too at aggressive pricing compared to any regular Pixel Buds. The regular Pixel Buds are priced at $199 whereas the Pixel Buds A carries a price tag of only $99 (almost half). However, Google had accidentally announced this audio product on Twitter a month ago. Now, let’s get into the specs and features of the device.
As per the build quality and usage, the Pixel Buds A will not disappoint you at all as it has a comfortable flush-to-ear design with a stabilizer arc that helps to keep them in place so that if you do an intense workout, the earbuds will never fall off. For users’ convenience, Google ships the device with three extra ear tips of different sizes.
Coming to the sound quality, it has an interesting feature called Adaptive Sound. With this feature, the device can automatically adjust the volume to fit the surroundings. As per the controls, it has the touch sensitivity by which you can answer calls and control. You just need to tap on it. Moreover, as it is a Google product, it has the in-built support for the Google Assistant, and to call it, just say “Ok Google or Hey Google”.
The Google Pixel Buds A is IPX4 certified. So, no need to worry about sweat or splash. Coming to the battery section, this device can deliver up to 24 hrs of battery life with the charging case, and without the case, it is approximately more or less than 5 to 6 hours.
Apart from these, the Pixel Buds A has an amazing feature by which you can find the earbuds if those are misplaced. You need to use Find My Device and your earbuds will ring if they are nearby. You can also track them by their last known location on the map.
This audio product from Google is available in two different color options: Clearly White and Dark Olive (Both gloss finish). The pre-order of this device has started today and will be available for sale on June 17 at $99 (INR 7,230). These earbuds have already received the BIS certification and are heading towards India soon.
