Shows Worth Watching Before They Leave

Kim’s Convenience (Leaving June 2) — One of the warmest, funniest sitcoms of the past decade, Kim’s Convenience follows a Korean-Canadian family running a convenience store in Toronto. Starring Simu Liu before his Marvel fame, it’s a masterclass in situation comedy writing. With 65 bite-sized episodes at around 22 minutes each, you can realistically finish the whole series before it goes. Don’t miss it.

Sex and the City (Leaving June 30) — All six seasons of HBO’s groundbreaking New York fashion and romance drama are departing together. Whether you’re revisiting Carrie, Charlotte, Miranda, and Samantha or watching for the first time, June 30th is your hard deadline.

Blindspot (Leaving June 7) — This NBC thriller about a tattooed amnesiac woman with a mysterious past is one of the most binge-friendly crime procedurals on the platform. Five full seasons means plenty of edge-of-your-seat viewing before June 7th.

Brockmire (Leaving June 3) — Hank Azaria’s hilariously dark IFC comedy about a disgraced baseball commentator rebuilding his life is criminally underrated. If you haven’t seen it yet, you have until June 3rd to fix that.

Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts (Leaving June 26) — A Netflix Original animated series that built a passionate cult following with its vibrant, post-apocalyptic world and deeply human storytelling. Unlike licensed titles, once a Netflix Original is removed it rarely returns anywhere. Watch it while you still can.

Degrassi: Next Class (Leaving June 30) — Four seasons of Canada’s iconic teen drama, covering issues from mental health to social media identity with refreshing honesty. Another Netflix Original removal — meaning this one’s gone for good.

Movies You’ll Regret Missing

Mrs. Doubtfire — Robin Williams in peak form as a devoted dad disguising himself as a nanny. A genuine all-time great comedy that belongs in every watchlist.

Casino — Scorsese’s epic dissection of Las Vegas greed and violence is one of the finest crime films ever made. Three hours of De Niro, Pesci, and Sharon Stone at their absolute best.

The Lego Movie — Far smarter and more emotionally resonant than its premise suggests. A genuine modern animated classic.

It Ends With Us — The Blake Lively drama based on Colleen Hoover’s novel that dominated conversation in 2024. Its June 9th exit is a Sony first-window removal, so it’s unlikely to return to Netflix any time soon.
