The Last of Us’ Joel and Ellie have been inserted into the world of 2018’s God of War on PC, and the results are magnificent. According to Eurogamer, YouTuber OmegaFantasy has replaced God of War’s Kratos and Atreus with Joel and Ellie from The Last of Us, as well as replacing Kratos’ Leviathan Axe with a modified pipe better suited to Joel and turning the Draugrs into Clickers.
Additionally, The Stranger from the beginning of the game has been replaced with David from The Last of Us, giving the epic fight in the game’s opening moments a whole new meaning.
Fans may download the mod from OmegaFantasy’s Patreon page, and they can also watch the game play on their YouTube channel. You can watch Speclizer’s video that edits in The Last of Us conversation if you want to see the mod with phrases from the game.
If The Last of Us isn’t your thing, OmegaFantasy has also added Homer, Bart, and Ned from The Simpsons: Hit and Run to the mix. All of these mods make waiting for God of War: Ragnarok a little less painful. Fortunately, according to a recent source, we won’t have to wait much longer, as Sony is aiming to release the much awaited sequel in November 2022.
