Why These Codes Matter for Luna II

With Nefer’s banner running alongside Furina in Phase 1, every Primogem counts. These codes provide crucial resources for:

F2P Players: Free wishes toward limited 5-star characters
New Players: Essential leveling materials like Hero’s Wit and Mora
Artifact Upgraders: Mystic Enhancement Ore for strengthening your builds
Character Builders: Nagadus Emerald Slivers for Dendro character ascensions (perfect timing for Nefer!)

The Teachings of Elysium are particularly valuable—these talent books from Nod-Krai are essential for building characters from the new region, including Nefer, Lauma, and future Luna patch releases.

How to Redeem Codes: Two Simple Methods

Method 1: Official HoYoverse Website (Fastest)

Visit the official Genshin Impact redemption page
Log in using your HoYoverse account credentials
Select your correct server and verify your in-game character name
Paste one code into the “Redemption Code” field
Click Redeem and repeat for remaining codes
Check your in-game mailbox—rewards arrive within minutes!

Pro Tip: Keep the redemption page open in a browser tab for quick access when new codes drop during livestreams.

Method 2: In-Game Redemption (Console-Friendly)

Open your Paimon Menu (top-left corner icon)
Navigate to Settings (gear icon)
Select Account from the menu
Choose Redeem Code to open the dialog box
Enter each code manually and click Exchange
Rewards automatically appear in your in-game mail

Note: PlayStation players must use the website method—in-game redemption isn’t available on PS4/PS5 consoles.

Common Redemption Issues & Solutions

“Redemption Code Invalid”: The code has expired or was mistyped. Double-check spelling and capitalization—codes are case-sensitive.

“Redemption in Cooldown”: You’re redeeming codes too quickly. Wait 5 seconds between each redemption.

“Account Not Eligible”: Your account must reach Adventure Rank 10 before redeeming codes. Complete early story quests to unlock this feature.

“Code Already Claimed”: You’ve previously redeemed this specific code. Each code works only once per account.

When Do New Codes Release?

HoYoverse typically drops new redeem codes during:

Livestream Previews: Version update livestreams (usually 10-12 days before patches)
Social Media Events: Official Twitter/X, Instagram, and Facebook campaigns
In-Game Events: Special occasions like anniversaries and major holidays
Community Milestones: Follower counts or engagement celebrations

For Luna II’s second phase featuring Arlecchino and Zhongli, expect new codes around mid-November 2025 during the next livestream event.

Maximizing Your Luna II Experience

Beyond redeem codes, Luna II introduces substantial free rewards through:

Miliastra Wonderland: The new UGC game mode offering exclusive cosmetics and avatar customization options. This mode uses its own gacha system with Geodes of Replication and Arcane Keystones—completely separate from character wishes.

Archon Quests: “An Elegy for Faded Moonlight” continues the Song of the Welkin Moon storyline, rewarding Primogems upon completion. Don’t skip cutscenes—the lore connections between Nefer, Lauma, and the Traveler set up future plot developments.

Phase 1 Events: Complete limited-time events for additional Primogems, talent books, and weapon materials. Check our complete Luna II events schedule for daily event rotations.

Strategic Code Redemption Tips

Redeem Immediately: Codes expire without warning. Claims within 24 hours of release to avoid disappointment.

Save Primogems Strategically: If you’re not pulling for Nefer or Furina, save these Primogems for future banners. The pity system carries over, making every gem valuable.

Prioritize Leveling Materials: Even if you’re AR60, don’t underestimate Mora and Hero’s Wit. New characters always need resources, and Luna II introduces several Mora-intensive features in Miliastra Wonderland.

Looking Ahead: Future Code Opportunities

Based on HoYoverse’s pattern, expect 3-4 new codes during the Luna II Phase 2 livestream (late October/early November 2025). These typically offer similar rewards: 300 Primogems combined across all codes, plus region-specific materials for upcoming characters.

With Snezhnaya’s proper release scheduled for Version 7.0 (mid-2026), codes will increasingly feature Cryo-related materials. Start stockpiling now if you’re planning to main Snezhnaya characters!

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do Genshin Impact redeem codes work on all platforms?

Yes, redeem codes work universally across PC, mobile (iOS/Android), and PlayStation platforms. However, PS4/PS5 players cannot redeem codes through the in-game menu—they must use the official HoYoverse website redemption page. Codes are account-bound, not platform-bound, so rewards transfer across all devices where you play. The only requirement is reaching Adventure Rank 10, which takes approximately 2-3 hours of gameplay for new accounts.

Q: How long do Luna II redeem codes typically remain active?

HoYoverse doesn’t announce official expiration dates for redeem codes, but based on historical patterns, most codes remain active for 24-48 hours to several weeks. Livestream codes (released during version preview streams) tend to expire fastest—usually within 1-2 days—while general promotional codes like GENSHINGIFT can last months. To be safe, always redeem codes within 24 hours of discovery. New codes often release during major livestreams, in-game events, and social media campaigns throughout Luna II’s 6-week update cycle, so checking weekly ensures you never miss rewards.
