Four Hands, Two Sonatas Making-of: Song Kang and Lee Jun Young Bring Heart, Action and Playful Banter to the Set

Great performances don’t happen by accident, and the newest behind-the-scenes look at Four Hands, Two Sonatas proves it. STUDIO DRAGON, the drama’s production company, released a fresh making-of video on September 29, and it’s full of focus, teamwork, and a few playful moments. Here’s what it shows.

Four Hands, Two Sonatas: Overview

Inside the Making-of Video

The video shows the cast fully immersed in their roles, watching monitors closely as they review their scenes. It’s a reminder that a lot of the work happens between takes, when actors check their performance and fine-tune small details. The clip also highlights the mix of seriousness and fun that defines a good set.

Lee Jun Young’s Action Commitment

Lee Jun Young impresses the crew with his dedication to action scenes. The video shows him putting real effort into physical sequences, which adds credibility to what viewers see on screen. Action often takes repeated takes and careful choreography, so this kind of commitment stands out.

Song Kang’s Delicate Emotions

Song Kang takes a quieter approach. After discussing scenes with the director, he portrays his character’s emotions with care and subtlety. It’s a nice contrast to the action side of the story, and it shows how the drama balances physical intensity with emotional depth.

Ad-libs and Playful Moments

The actors also suggest fun ad-libs while filming, which add depth to their characters. Off-script moments like these can make on-screen relationships feel more natural. The video also shows Lee Jun Young and Song Kang sharing playful energy on set. In one clip, Lee Jun Young puts on a blindfold for their piano performance, and Song Kang compliments how cool it looks.
